I live just off of West End drive, we had a few thieves go throughout our neighborhood here and break in all our cars one night and steal everything of value a few weeks ago. My stupid ass left my wallet in my glove compartment. They ended up racking about 30 in gas charges on my debit card and made off with my ss card and license. Needless to say, the West End isn't as safe as we thought.

 

Sorry about your luck! My wifes truck has been broken into 2x in the year she's had it. Both times they only stole MY stuff...her's was left untouched.

 

I usually leave the keys in the truck along with my wallet, house is usually unlocked as well. Guess I should start locking up my stuff. Then again, no one has been stupid enough to try and break into my home.

This is why I don't lock my doors.

We had a big string of robberies in my old neighborhood - 20+ cars got things stolen from them. I lost all my CDs and my DV camera but I think I was the only one who didn't buy a window.

 

Locks are for honest people.

Damn, I bet you could get some prints off all those grease marks around your wheel hub - if the police gave a shit about catching thieves around here...
