Gunnergod had some issues with a sohc motor he bought from JEI. Came with the timing belt all shredded and a locked up waterpump amont other little miscellanious problems. Who knows what could have potentially been wrong with the engine. They replaced it, but it was still an annoyance and set back getting the motor running another week.

As Matt said, the first motor I bought from JEI had a shredded timing belt due to the water pump being locked up. I paid for shipping and it was never refunded. I had to borrow an SUV to drive up to NOVA and pick the motor up. The owner is a complete asshole that has no idea what he is talking about. The only sensible one there is the white guy he works with, I can't remember his name though.
