oh and I got pulled by 3 cops, pulled out of the car, searched a thrown in handcuffs, all cuz I "was going to go down a one way road"
well i was thrown in handcuffs for another reason, but it all started cuz I thought about going down a one way road?? what kinda of bs is that?
yeah Im not shit talkin it...but you have the give the nod to the BP for being the superior turbo power plant since it was designed to be turbochatrged from day 1. I got 260+whp on a completely stock FS motor at 14psi...this was 3 years ago. I think I was top 3 at the time...I know there should be guys way over that now on stock block now.

The 90-93 1.6 miatas share the same powerplant as the 323 gtx turbo. So they are overengineered for there NA application. You can basically run a 1.6 BP miata motor at 16-18psi (on all stock internals) with proper tuning and managment.....thats why old school miatas are the funk
Have you ever seen the 323 gtr motor in a RWD application? This motor is stronger than the gtx. Extra ribbing, etc. I think they're rated at 212hp stock... Probably impossible to find too.

I wanted a '94 Miata for a while. I think it has a bigger motor and stronger rearend. Which year was the black miata with red interior, '95?

no I did not know of that..I am just familiar with the gtx...interesting.
Yeah 94 has the better rear end...but I like the 1.6 better
Black/red miata is a 1.6 1992

It was in my old turbo MP3. The internals were stock. Had a 16g EVO3 turbo and a big ass Isuzu truck intercooler on it I was running twin fuel rails 550cc primary injectors 280cc secondary and a inline fuel pump and aeromotive fuel press regulator with a microtec standalone. I got 230whp out of it at 13psi with a link piggy back fuel/ign computer.
The motor lasted about 40k miles like that until I sold it to a guy up north and he blew it up at the track after tuning it....I will try and dig up pics and dyno plots of it

see if your probe was turboed then it would be a whole different story...then it would be very believable that the car is a 12-13 sec car or even faster. But I think the problem everybody is having is that the car is not turbo. Unless you were building the motor for boost and had a turbo on there then there is no way in hell I would race you for $$ because there is a significant chance that I would loose even at the HP level that I should have in a few months just because I may have problems with traction and my cars weight. And if your car was turboed with a built motor and you got it to hook then you could have a very fast car.
Nobody is saying you cant get a probe in the 11's-12's. People are saying (and I am saying) that it would be very difficult to do so on all motor and juice. I am not going to argue this...just trying to say my point here. I just dont seeing it happening without a turbo...I dunno maybe I dont know something that you do but I cant see it.
