The same as the first gens. 15 flat or so. For every hp they added, it gained 10lbs. I'm sure it has more potential through just a boost controller or something, but stock...

yeah its easy to extract power out of a turbo car. Just replacing all th ewimpy shit on it like I/C, I/C pipes, 02 extension, downpipe, 2.5 exhaust and a boost controller should help it out alot. But the main problem with the car is the fuel delivery. 1-5k is really really rich well below 10:0 to 1 so if the mixture is leaned out with all those parts listed it should easily make 200-220whp I think.

but it also has a price tag of something like 30k and for the price of that and all the extra shit you would have to buy for it, I could make an older one run 10's lol

but miatas aint made to be fast in a straight line. its like a handeling god

Eh, that sucks. The cops that pulled me over didn't get anything on me and then tried to get me to confess.

You mean the potential for power? I guess so. I don't know jack squat about the protege.

yeah its basically the same thing...2 motors with shitty factory turbo systems and really shitty engine management. But the BP miata motor is so much better then the FS protege motor in terms of power delvery and ability to take boost like a mofo. The 90-93 1.6 miatas share the same powerplant as the 323 gtx turbo. So they are overengineered for there NA application. You can basically run a 1.6 BP miata motor at 16-18psi (on all stock internals) with proper tuning and managment.....thats why old school miatas are the funk

actually the FS motor has been known to be able to make some good power, you just have to know how to get it out

mazda has always had shitty engine managment which is a pain in the ass.

oh and I got pulled by 3 cops, pulled out of the car, searched a thrown in handcuffs, all cuz I "was going to go down a one way road"
well i was thrown in handcuffs for another reason, but it all started cuz I thought about going down a one way road?? what kinda of bs is that?
