as much as i respect an SR20 I wouldn't do that to this vehicle haha. besides it's getting harder and harder to find a good one for FF configurations. This car is just a DD anyways. still waiting to see what I'm gonna do for a project car.

I've never really heard much about those 2.3's, I'll def look into it more, I know there's gotta be a reason they were the M powerplant.

Hope you have deep pockets if your looking for an E30 M3, expect to pay $10K+. Why not get an E30 and do an swap, since there plenty of options;E36 M3 S50/52, E36 M50, LS1/2, or RWD SR20DET....

well the M3 I'm looking at is a shell, pretty much everything minus the drivetrain. I'm doubtful I'll be the one to get it, seeing as I need to spend my money elsewhere right now, and I don't think my friends is going to end up letting it go haha. even a non-M e30 project would be fun.
