Need help finding parts...
Hello, i have a 1993 Ford Escort Lx hatchback sport, i just recently had to replace the original motor with one with half as many miles. Well, i just don't like FWD cars all too much and was wondering if anyone knows where i can find an AWD motor and trans with harness, etc, etc that would possibly fit into the engine bay. I dont know all too much on cars, but I have always been fond of AWD's and would like any help or ideas if you can spare any. Thanks.

So pretty much a pointless response and fact that you have no idea where to locate the answer to his question. (AS THIS ONE WAS ALSO).
Best bet is to locate an escort specific forum board to see about inquiring about your idea and project.

This thread makes me laugh more than you all know. Considering the OP is chasing the unicorn. USDM escort can be made into a cosworth escort with ease and minimal fab work. Keep watching those Getaway in Stockholm videos while throwing pennies into the wishing well.

Re: Need help finding parts...
fuck you, count largeguy. all you fags are so unhelpful.
OP do this: buy a wrx engine and a set of axles. the engine should totally bolt right in because when my motor blew in my wrx, i couldn't afford a new wrx engine and got a junkyard escort motor and it bolted right in. then i took out the rear axles and made it front wheel drive so that the transmission would work with the transverse escort motor. and the harness is easy to convert. all you have to do is take all the green wires from the subaru harness and splice them into the blue wires on the escort harness, then vice-versa. it's some weird import/domestic conversion thing where green is blue and blue is green depending on the car.
and most importantly, don't ever listen to these trolling faggots on vadriven. you seem like a pretty cool guy and you should doesn't afraid of anything.
