Whoa whoa whoa, I loved me some Blacksburg. Remember that it's a REAL college town, so college students who aren't lame and boring are always going to have something to do. Football games, DT, frat parties, hiking at the Cascades, tubing/kayaking/BBQ on the river, and overall just acting young and stupid. Damn, I miss me some VT!

Welcome to RIC, ericlws66. Congrats on your graduation.

I found a house with garage in Bellemeade neighborhood for cheap. Looks like a bad part of town though by using www.RichmondCrime.org Could anyone give me any more info on that area. Is it that bad?
is that off of jeff davis highway? if so then yea.. probably not a "nice" place to live... unless you like living by trailer parks and masonettes

And blacks, asians, hispanics, Indians. Not just "white folks". However, this weekend at RIR is a different story. I will be one of the proud.

There is no reason to ever move to or even visit the Southside. If you work by that Laburnum exit, I think the closest place to live might be the Museum District. You won't have to pay tolls. Good luck.
Its all growing up though, at least here in chesterfield.
