Default Good exhaust shops in the area?

All w-bodies have a u-shaped bend in between the downpipe and cat. As you could imagine, this u-bend is a performance killer. All the while, the stock downpipe is ass awful. So my question is this, instead of spending about $400 to buy a bigger downpipe/u-bend delete/high flo cat online, is there any exhaust shop around the Richmond area that can do it for me for a good price and do a good job? I was looking for a 2.5" downpipe, it will bolt directly to the exhaust manifolds and catalytic converter. I contemplated going 3", but I figured that 'd be overkill. I know most exhaust shops probably won't want to install a high flow cat, so I'll prolly just grab one of those online from ebay or something. TIA.

Any exhaust shop can remove the u-bend....but I doubt they'd be able to make a downpipe for you. It'd take a lot of time to measure and bend the thing and then get flanges that fit your stock manfiolds. I think your better off getting a pre-fabed downpipe.
