You know it's funny about drifting...
Right when it got popular it was the "cool" thing to do.. everyone wanted to drift (except kevin wouldn't adimit it... he really did) So.. they go to some parking lot event.. no lsd, no real suspension to speak of... but they gots them a SR20DET! So obviously they can drift right?
So.. they get out on the "track" or parking area.. and they look like complete retards.. and realize it takes too much time and effort to get good at this, but all their friends still think it's cool so they keep going to events, and keep sucking. Soon enough their friend realize they can't drift either, after wrecking their cars into various stationary objects from not being able to keep their car under control, they at first think it's cool that their cars have battle scars.. then they get home and their parents rip them a new asshole and ground them for a month.
Somewhere around this point people started calling drifting gay.. the same very people who were at drift events sucking ass... why? Because they can't do it, so they don't like it. It's not like drag/street racing where everyone can do it, (especially street racing... everyone at least pretends to do it) Anyways i wrote a lot of stuff about nothing really.. I just think people that call it gay, have probably never done it.. or suck at it. Or just hate it cause it's a trend.. get over it

If it's getting from point A to point B as fast as possible, I like it...well, except autocrossing because only drifting exceeds autox on the gayness scale.
