I'll spill the beans, sorry Brian. :P
First, you have to use the brakes and the gas at the same time. They tell you not to but anyone who is fast does. The gas pedal should be buried at ALL times, unless you get in some sort of situation that necessitates lifting. Tap the brakes to bring the kart into the turns. This leads into the most important tip.
Second and probably less obvious, is the "way" you navigate the track. In a normal car, you'd want to make your line as smooth as possible; making sure you hit all your apexes, etc. The engine speed you would lose could be compensated for by downshifting. However, you cannot shift gears in the kart, so a "traditional" line won't work as well. It is much more important to keep the engine at boil than it is to take the "proper" line. You're going to miss a lot of apexes, you're going to do a lot of sliding and counter-steering. Keep the gas to the floor.
A lot of people have trouble with the hairpin; I see them trying to take the normal line, swinging way out wide before and after the turn. In the turn before the hairpin, stay balls to the wall. Cut straight to the inside of the hairpin, don't swing out. Turn right, keep in the gas and SLAM the brakes; this will rotate the kart right and you should be off. I make a lot of passes this way.

We should do GForce regularly (bi-weekly, monthly?) and keep points, ala Nascar.
Have teams, too. Would be fun.
The way you typed it, I thought you were making fun of all the AIK nerds.
