TKO's do not require the removal of most headers to change a clutch since the bellhousing is seperate unlike the T45,T56, 3650's. Hell this is your what 4th clutch within 2 years? Have you thought about Mcleod or Centerforces DFX
You've always hated my car, and apparently me, so there is no need for you to respond in this thread.
That has never stopped you before in past threads right

I never hated your car, just you. You keep hating to hear it, but you are back in the stone age of the modular 4.6L.
I just think you have a shit motor(SHM) who is known to be the worst mod motor aftermarket company. He has the worst customer service(Look on MD and just type in a search and the plethora of upset customers and failed motors and parts). Besides, why does he take a 4.6L which has an already out of whack bore to rod length(same stroke as a 5.8L 351 and its a 281) and strokes it more and then sells them for 7K. Too many people have had those mod strokers(except 5.4L as it has a taller deck height and is built to be a stroker) fail and run like crap. That is why VT and Boss330Racing, Steen Racing are doing big bores. They unshroud the valves, making more power and not increasing instability in the pistons. People are pushing 380+ rwhp with a 4.6L bigbore kit on motor alone.

It's nothing against you but I see a regular trend on the various mustang sites I am on where people have tried to sell their SHM engines, car with SHM parts and can't sell them because its a problem waiting to happen. Nobody likes SHM and they know its a great chance they will get fvcked.
SHM is why Scott and Jim created VT Engines(they were his former engine builders for SHM). Since they left he has gone downhill.

The fact you drive it 300 miles and don't want a tune because its not your problem is possibly another reason its not sold after how many months? If I start that car up and it spits fuel out the pipes and sounds like that, I would shake your hand and say thanks for allowing me to look at it, and I would run far away from that problem. Whoever buys that car will have to invest quite a bit of money on a 8K+ motored car that should be running correctly as it is.

Scott was the one who built this engine at SHM and I bought it when they were considered very, very good. Lakewood scattershield bellhousing and equal length headers (both listed in the user profile) require a bit more steps in the clutch removal process. Tim Overton last replaced the clutch about 2 years ago. Tune is great other than at idle where it runs incredibly rich.

Please don't talk about my car when you don't seem to know anything about it.

Yeah back then they were as no one really knew about the modulars to that degree. That was before they left SHM due to differences in how SHM wanted the engines to be and how he ran the company. So Scott and Jim left opened up VT Engines and SHM told them if they told anyone about his day to day in house shop operations SHM would sue them.

Thing is SHM has a huge bad reputation for not standing behind their work. I talked with scott on it on another site he is on about SHM a while back. Alot of people with engines going bad, oil pump gears failing, etc. They all seem to go to him for advice because SHM doesn't have a clue what the hell went wrong.

I know quite a bit about the car and engine. Yes in 03 Tim replaced the clutch but you didn't you send like 1 or 2 of them back to spec for failure.

Yeah a car not able to idle right and running rich to the point of gas coming out the exhaust pipe isnt bad at all huh? Like I said maybe you should just get it fixed.

Have you thought of a different brand of clutch like McLeod and Centerforce?

Replied. Keep in mind that it's a 1997 chassis and 1999 Cobra engine. Not much difference in clearing anything from what I remember. The Lakewood gets close, but non-equal length shouldn't be a prob.

If you really wanted to piss her off, all Rich has to do is have someone with a lighter by the tail pipe and hit the gas and watch her shit herself.
