well i got a 120/60.. and i got lawyer and basically he went up there and said my client is sorry for his actions..and i still got jail time and 6 months suspended liscense and driving school... so unless u can get a lawyer who does magic i suggest u just face the consequences.. and save the $350 for a lawyer whos worth s*** ... bye the way dont go the law firm of powell and parish.. specially powell sucks...

Unless you can find a lawyer who knows a DA in that court, and can pre-settle some type of plea, and recommend a lesser sentence to the judge. But really, save your money, it will pay your fines

What the fuck? thats messed up?! Did the guy roll back in netural or somthing? How does that happen, thats realy messed up... and the cop said reckless. Hope that works out man.

i got busted for 119/55...got a court appointed lawyer...he spoke to the prosecutor..and i received 30 day suspension and 600 fine..no jail time..u may not even face a judge is your lawyer can talk to the prosecutor...and this was in faquier county that follows fairfax laws

To make a long story short, I was in the right turning lane turning left onto Broad from Cox Road (Innsbrook), my light turned green, once I get onto Broad, I was hit on the rear passenger side door and quarter panel. (He came from the opposite side of Cox Road, making a right onto Broad, "yielding to his red light") What made it "my fault" is that I went into the right lane on Broad instead of the middle lane. Hope that is semi-easy to understand. But I got charged with reckless driving when its really only something like improper lane change. Lame

i got a 96 in a 55 back in Norfolk. my lawyer appealed the traffic courts decision and made a deal with the DA in the next higher court(forget what it was called) and i got off with only 11 over

Hey original poster ~~ did you find a lawyer?

I just had court last Thursday and my attorney got my ticket dropped from reckless driving to "defective equipment". Ask me how the heck that happened.. I don't know!! But it definitely pays to have an attorney.
