Tournament Entries
PLEASE NO COMMENTING ON THE ENTRIES, SAVE THAT FOR THE TOURNAMENT. THANKS.
This will be run very similar to the 2009 Dope Car Tournament. Since we had to manage the threads/forums during the last one we're just going to do it ourselves this time
First 64 entries to post the required information and make it past the staff (we reserve the right to veto any entries) are in. After that the brackets will be randomly selected. Then the users vote on the cars!
The voting for Rounds 1-4 will last ~3 days, Semifinal and Finals will last ~5 days (the ~'s are because weekends don't count as full days as far as forum activity is concerned).
You can only post a car you currently own, and it must be its present state. No posting cars you've sold, took apart a year ago to rebuild or parts laying around you haven't installed yet.
The top 4 from the previous tournament are ineligible to enter
MINIMUM REQUIRED INFORMATION IN YOUR POST - copy and paste this in your post, then fill it out. If you haven't done anything on a category just put Stock, read these forum descriptions if you're not sure which category something goes in.
Year/Make/Model:
Vehicle History/Summary:
Modifications
Engine/Exhaust/Drivetrain:
Suspension/Brakes:
Wheels/Tires:
Exterior:
Interior/Audio:
You also MUST include a minimum of 3 pictures (an exterior shot, interior shot and engine shot) any other pictures/descriptions are just bonuses to your entry.
Remember your post is your entry, do it properly
This post will be updated as entries are accepted (the numbers are just a count of entries thus far and isn't the bracket seeds).

Re: Tournament Entries
Year/Make/Model:
2004 / Honda / S2000
Vehicle History/Summary:
Bought stock 2 1/2years ago.
If you're looking for an S2000 that follows the current recipe for "dopeness", you're going to have to look elsewhere. Despite being a "sunny day" car, I like to drive it hard when I drive it. I tried big aggressive wheels when I first bought the car, but the penalty paid in the handling department wasn't worth the look in my opinion. I ditched the 19" HREs and went with the current wheels/tires. Coupled with the custom valved KW V3 coilovers (Maserati MC12 and Viper ACR run KWs by the way), it handles absolutely great. I kept the ride height high enough that my roll center isn't under the car and so it could be driven care-free on the roads around here. Adding the Recaro SPGs only added to the feel of the car. They're not the flashiest way to spend a couple thousand bucks, but if you've ever driven a car with quality race buckets you understand how much better they make the driving experience. With the chassis and handling characteristics improved so much, the engine now felt underwelming. Forced induction was the obvious choice to fix this. The only real question was "turbo or supercharger?". I really considered turbo for a while, but decided I'd prefer to keep the stock powercurve and throttle response rather than make bigger numbers at the cost of turbo lag and potential reliability problems. Science of Speed (known for building extremly fast supercharged NSXs) released their supercharger kit for the S2000 which could be upgraded to a Novi 1220 SL blower which is self lubricated and capable of making well over 400whp. The ease of installation and Science of Speed's reputation made this the easy choice for me. I say "ease of installation" because I do all my own work on the car. To date, nothing has been done in a professional shop other than put it on the dyno. Now it drives the way it should. The wheels are aggressive enough to look good, but fit well enough that it can be driven hard. It's about 100hp up on the stock numbers, but still quiet and easy to drive.
Modifications

~ARC Ti cooling plate

~APR front lip
