i like it alot,you got the motor back in yet? because a buddy of mine just pulled his out the bottom of his 02 ss and i was just wondering how hard it is to get it back in

 

its not hard, just be pateint and dont put anything on it till its in the car.

It's not hard at all. You can have everything bolted on the motor/trans and then just lift the k member up in place and bolt it back up. Then all you need to do is hook up a few plugs and the brake lines/fuel lines and your ready to go. It takes no time to drop them out the bottom or put them back.

 

finally got to working on the car again so here is a small update


i went ahead and painted the pan just because






also got the headers powder coated




and finally its in

 

and i forgot to take pics of the tranny while it was out but here is the fully built 4l80e with transbrake

 

I was with you all the way up to the painted ignition coils. They look as out of place as painted interior trim.

ignition coils should have just been hidden.... I hop those headers are thermal coated and not actually powdercoated. No way in hell powdercoating will hold up to the heat.
