RameyBuilt's Outlaw Build Up Version 2
After being asked about it constantly of times and hearing so many different stories, I figured its time to set the record straight. We had an accident with the shop car and the chassis is no longer useable. There for I will elaborate on the unfortunate event to stop the spreading of rumors.
The car had made 901 on 29lbs on virginia speeds dyno, we turned it up 35lbs and spun the tires very bad so I decided to turn it down and make one more pull to check everything. On this last pull it popped out of second gear(if you have driven a dog box it has to be under load to stay in gear and we were on a dyno jet which is a non load bearing dyno). Its about 8pm on a Saturday at this point and we have a race Sunday morning in maryland. So to save us some troubles at the track, I wanted to do a first,second gear pull on the road to see what would happen. If it popped out we would have stayed and pulled the tranny, fixed it and left in the morning. That being said, hit first and second and it was fine. Let out, hit the brakes and the rear skinnies locked up and spun the car around. Stupid mistake, I know you live and you learn. I was just over hearing everyones version of what had happened so I wanted to set the record straight.
Now since that has been covered, we have started a build on our next car. About 90% of the stuff from the old car was salvageable. However I will be switching to an air to water intercooler, making a new forward mount manifold, and some other little things to help get us deep in the 8's this time. I am trying to have it ready for imports vs domestics, but I am unsure if I will be able to meet that deadline.

i haven't decided if i want to post pics of it or not yet, very few people have even seen it i don't know if i want to post pics on a public form, its still a sore spot lol
