I drove my friends civic around for a day and it was so nice to just tap the knob and it'd be in gear
Yes, I have a Pro 5.0 and it goes into every gear with ease

I had a hurst in my 5.0 and i absolutely LOVED it. It was without a doubt one of the greatest shifters I've felt. Sure it wasnt as hard or as crisp as a Pro 5.0 or a Tri-ax, but i dont want a shifter that feels like i'm going to break the tranny every time i shift. It was plenty short, and the quality of the parts was unmatchable. I'll probably be getting a Hurst Billet Plus from them if i dont get a Pro 5.0.

I love my Hurst in the Z06... MGW makes top notch stuff, but I have to agree w/ the more parts = more crap to brake and come loose. Somebody needs to make a mustang shifter that goes back toward the driver 6 inches so you don't have to reach so far down and forward. The ergonomics suck ass...

Sweet, you're still rowing the boat too? I'm used to my stock shifter, it doesn't bother me.

That was a major concern of his. But if you read the thread, other people also thought that. He said you'd basically need all the strength of a gorilla to twist it.
