Default WTF is the diference?

Looking to get an intake and just wondering for those who switched to the first version of AEM Cold air to V2... Is there any improvements? Is it worth it paying that extra cash to get the V2?

the V2 has a cool hip new design that creates certain frequencies in the intake charge. it's supposed to help the air flow into the manifold better and while AEM shows improvements, i'm not sure that it's worth it unless you get a good deal or your CAI really really sucks.

Bullshit! Paying $230 for an intake is much better then paying $30 for a custom intake that does the exact same thing..

I might just get one off ebay and change the filter... but having a hard time finding a long one, theyre all short rams.

Be careful, they might not even be the diameter they advertise. I've seen some make custom intakes from the ebay pipes and couplers mated with a K&N. The only filter to beat out K&N is Apex-i btw
