Generally people ugrade when they're shooting for upwards of 350 (as intence said).

well...non-sti ej205 2002-2003...the best number i've read so far was 399.3whp, 344.6trq done by bigturkey on nasioc.

I agree with the rest, above 350 is really pushing the limits of the motor. Its been done before. But then again I know people who have blown it up on a stock turbo with under 250awhp.

Do the 04-05 have a different block variant, not a 205? I don't remember my WRX trivia..
I wish they'd put the 207s in everything and call it good..

you know...im not sure. I think there are subtle differences...like shims.

I do know that there are hardcore differences in ecu.
