the inspection allowance came into effect 7/1/07, and allows writing in the area at the top of the windshield, no farther than 3" or past the ansi line.
its still a ticketable offense, much like many things that pass inspection but are still illegal on a motor vehicle according to the MV code.
just dont be stupid with what is up there, and i doubt you will have issues.

I thought that I heard that passed also, but I cannot find it online.
As far as the rear window, you can do whatever you want as long as you have a mirror on each side of the car. If you don't have a mirror on the right, you can only have a single sticker no larger than 20 sq inches and it must be within the lower 5 inches of the window.

the Saleens have been allowed for many years, there was a bulletin back in 04 if i recall informing inspectors of the factory installed ones.

I know Mark was having a helluva time getting the local law folk to agree with that; or maybe it really has been that long and I'm not realizing it.

yea cause i wasnt gonna go over board or anything, I just wanted to put like "Nissan" or something along those lines. I just want to spice my car up a bit. something like 3 inches or so.
