what type of air intake would ou recommend?
Rig a leafblower up to blow directly into the throttle body, it'll almost be like a super charge for a fraction of the price. You can run power straight from your battery.
Plus, you'll have to get new badges for the car/motor. Your going to be allowing more air in which everyone knows increases your displacement.

ok well i dont think im gonna go with the leaf blower idea.. i think i'll stick to something simple..
also with suspensions.. from my understanding coilovers cause your stock shocks to wear out faster.. unless you change them out with new shocks..will new shocks elimintae this problem and why?

coilovers are an entire strut assembly (spring & shock).
i think you would be okay with just a lowering spring like an eibach
kit on your stock shocks, depending on how old your shocks are.
but if you were to get adjustable springs (what you think is "coilovers")
and slammed the car real low, you would probably have to get new
aftermarket shocks with the adjustable springs.
pretty much all depends on how long you want your car, and what
kind of suspension set up you're going to have.
or just springs on your stock shocks, or just cheap shocks id
recommend gettin' and eibach spring kit. its fairly cheap. or if you
want to get your car lower then that, you could go with a skunk2
adjustable springs w/ kyb agx 4-way adjustable shocks combo,
or ground control adjustable springs w/ shocks. the adjustment on
the shocks is for how stiff the shock absorbtion (sp?) would be.
either way, its how you want ur car to look and ride.
i have a 92 prelude that has tien s tech springs on stock shocks.
i'm probably gonna have to redo that set up soon.
hope this helps. g' luck.
