How are you going to tell me? Ive been to both VMP and MIR.. You havnt..

i like MIR because tech in is always fairly speedy....VMP you get there, and have to wait like 2 hours to get teched in if you get there at 600 or later...at least, every time ive gone there. at MIR the times i went, the first time i had running problems. second time, i couldve run probably at least 5 runs if i felt like staying. i got two runs in back in late november to run a 12.5....worth the drive for the prep of the track. VMP, had a lot of prep issues every time i went.

 

Shit what was your 60' though?

I'm slipping the clutch off the line to prevent wheel spin, but I'm only taking it 2300RPM's or so. I think if I slipped it around 3K I'd be hitting some low 2.1's maybe even a high 2.0.

 

That's piss poor for a LS1. How many miles?? Temp./Humid./etc/???

My stone stock '96 LT1 A4 HT (80k) went 8.80 @ 80 and 13.62 @ 102 w/ 2.01.

Whoa. VMP does not compare to MIR in any category. MIR is the better facility top to bottom, IMO.

 

I never really compared them though. Plus, I've only been to VMP. ToOCOoL brought up the fact that MIR is nice after I said that VMP is nice also and that its the nicest one the area. MIR is a ways away for me though. 2+ hour drive versus a 1, hence why I said in the area. But who care, its all about the racing right?

Yea that mph is def a 13.4 second pass.Stock I went 13.52 with an 8.68@ 81.54mph 1/8th with a 2.01 60ft.
