cops are out like crazy this weekend. I saw 5 people pulled on 64 this morning between jefferson and Mercury Blvd...


But yea, cops always sit in the median where Oyster Pt turns into Victory....i always slow down in that area no matter what...

We got lucky last night i guess when we had some fun on 64.

 

What is reckless driving? Every time I read some law or something on reckless driving it seems to differ.

Yeah I guess Im the guinea pig on this one, Im contacting a lawyer on Tuesday -http://www.thomaslhunter.com - Ive heard good things about him.

I plan on asking him if I should do the driver improvement course before the court date....if I might be able to either move up or move back my court date since Im deployed as of the 17th of this month.

I was wondering if I should even bother getting the speedo cal'd since its an 07...maybe a factory flaw??...

Honestly the main thing for me is to not go to jail... military would not be happy at all... the possiblity of hurting my career is more scary to me than anything else out of this.

The other thing that bites is Im scheduled for a ride along with a NN officer in a week...

You won't go to jail for it, unless you already have a really bad record. When I got pulled for 82 in a 45, I don't even think the prosecutor looked at my record. She just spouted off the fine of $350.00 and 6 points on my license. There was like no discussion at all, just go down the hall and pay it.
