VW question
The remote for the doors on my moms jetta died. when she replaces the battery, will she have to make the remote relearn the codes to unlock her car? I figured instructions would be in the manual but all it says is "your local authorized vw dealer can change the battery and reprogram it for you"
can anyone tell me how to do it myself? thanks
btw, its an 01.

Re: VW question
When my g/f bought her VW they gave her only 2 keys and told her she had to buy the rest. Well then she opened her rear hatch when she got home and found 2 more and I guess since it was new she had to get all of them programmed by the dealer.
Anways she got $650 worth of keys for free.
