whats the point? you ever installed hideaways before?


most strobes (unless its a 110w or bigger unit) are pointless in a full illuminated light housing anyway (the brake light will overpower all but the best Whelen units)


i do undercover/unmarked units for the local PD and state, i have a slight touch of experience with them

i have 2 lights that were for the ambulance (red housing) ( so they are bright and you can set them 3 different ways of flashing from what i can figure out) continious. 4 flash pause 4 flash...... and the 4 or 6 flash 1 time when you apply power to it then take the power off then it does it again (good for the brake light)

still illegal.

not only per inspection requirements, but also per motor vehicle code.


i cant have hideaways in my POV, and i am an officer in my FD.
