Turbo is going to be a bigger headache.. but it will produce more hp than a SC. There is much more to be done with a turbo, cost is dependant on doing it yourself (cheaper) or getting a kit (over-rated). You have turbo lag to deal with (it CAN be a bitch unless you know how to correct it), or SC and it's always there. SC might creat more torwue than your Honda will be able to keep down on the front tires.. turbo will come out laater and get you moving hard in that light Honda. All depends on what you need, I'd go turbo.. no sense in getting all this torque you can't use.

Turbos make heat yes but a supercharger's air can't be cooled down at all. That's why you have intercoolers for a turbo setup. Supercharger's aren't very efficient above let's say 8 psi on a honda motor, also take power to make power. I have a gsr supercharged at 6 psi. and civic gsr and it was at 6 psi too. I ran a 14.0 with the civic and 14.8 with the gsr both on street tires. Supercharger great daily, turbo great up top and speed

Superchargers can be intercooled. My car is intercooled, so are Ford Lightnings, etc.

Not necessarily. Some types of blowers are good for upper end power. I think that centrifugal blowers are good for upper end power.

Superchargers can require some maintenance too as some use some type of cooling or lubrication that you have to periodically change.

With superchargers you also have to upgrade fuel and have a way to retard timing.
