I didnt noticed that at all. But take into account EGTs on a trubo charged engine and shit is bound to happen sooner or later. I like the idea, but it seems from that cut away like heat would be a problem. On a diesel engine I wouldnt worry about this too much as heat / compression is what makes it work.

I dont care how much intercooling they have, the engine bay is going to be SCORCHING with 2 cats, 2 turbos, and exhaust manifolds running up top.
