History channel also has a new show called sliced, where they cut shit in half....history channel sucks.

This will suck...
The British show is so good becuase they don't rely on sponsorship money to produce the show. Thus, they don't have to keep various manufacturers happy. Here in America it'll be sponsored so they'll have to keep sponsors and advertisers happy.
Plus, they failed big time w/ the hosts... give me Tim Allen, Funkmaster Flex, and Leno.... if not leno give me a funny/cool NASCAR or pro racing driver.
I remember Leno specifically said he wouldn't do this because:
1. He didn't want to make his hobby work (as mentioned earlier in this thread)
and
2. He knew the BBC show was so special because of the chemistry between the hosts and the dry British humor.... he didn't want to attempt to re-do it and he dind't think the humor would translate to mainstream America (read: American's are stupid and can't understand sarcasm etc.).... case in point the morons on Corvetteforum who create 1000 post threads bashing Clarkson for picking on Corvettes... they don't understand that he really likes them and they rip on pretty much everything.
