As previously stated in one form or another not every car out there is designed to handle it's ass off and produce 500 hp. The rabbit has good looks(which is relative to personal taste), gets decent gas mileage and apparently has some interesting features and gadgitry.

So for a car that will probably stay stock and exists simply to provide a comfortable and practical mode of transportation i give it

IF they are like the gti they will do alright. Ive had my 06 gti for a few months and the rabbit is pretty much the same looking. I know my car has alot of really nice features and options that came with the package 2 deal. I have always been into hondas but isnt the fit only like 105 hp. I mean even if the rabbit is 3000 lbs its alot more power and tq. I say VW ftw

Why are you guys comparing apple to oranges. The Fit and the Rabbit dont compete in the same segment. The fit starts at a lower price and peaks out at about 17,000 the rabbit on the other hand starts at 14,500 and peaks out at about 23,000. The Honda is more in competition with the Yaris and Nissan Versa where as the VW is in more competition with the Civic, Corolla and Sentra.
