Thoughts on the new Rabbit
strike 1
"With an EPA mileage rating of 22/30 and a large 6.3-quart oil capacity, Rabbit owners will have to look long and hard at the operating and maintenance expenses before signing paperwork at the dealership"
strike 2
"Standard on all Rabbits is VW's familiar 150hp, 2.5-liter in-line five cylinder engine, mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed Aisin automatic with Tiptronic controls. The clever DSG dual-clutch gearbox is not available on Rabbit."
strike 3
"nearly 3,000-pound Rabbit "

Exactly. It weighs more than my fiance's '04 GLS she had, but it has 45HP more and almost 45ft/lbs more than her old Golf, same fuel capacity, about the same mileage (with the Rabbit nudging it out on the highway), and she gets free oil changes. The only thing really hurting the car is the weight, but for someone that's just getting it to drive everyday it's a nice car. It comes standard with A LOT of cool shit.
Stock with wheels.

Lowered on Audi rep's.

Bone stock.

This is pretty much what my girl is ordering, but she wants the Tornado Red. The wheels aren't Goals, but they look like them for the most part.
