no doubt about it [beautiful motor] pic from MIR last month

sorry a boosted ls1 is the best thing on that list. No matter what you believe, there really is no replacement for displacement. The much larger boosted ls1 has much more potential and it will make loads more tq. Plus your car will actually sound like a race car and not a lawnmover. Throw in the fact that parts are domestic, making them cheaper and easier to come by, and there really is no con to it.

Man you know that RB26 is gonna win hands-down on a poll here, with the domestic guys sayin LSx. I'm one of the few weirdos voting 2jz because I want to see something that hasn't been done much before, and RB30DET isn't an option...

but the rb26 is strictly bling-bling factor, the bottom end is only good to about 600 and i will cost well over 10k to get one in the car and running, with only minor upgrades..if i only wanted 400 whp i would stick with the 400 hp sr set up i have now.

the motors are hard to find and friggin expensive (5-7k) for an r33 (r34's are damn near impossible)

but the rb26 is still pretty fricken sweet

and then we have the 2jz--- a truely limitless motor. close to 1000 hp on a stock bottom end.....

RB26 is cool but its not as awe inspiring as it once was, ive seen it in a couple cars now.

Now the 2JZ, thatd be hot biz.
