agreed the higher end ones are nice ...i personally have alpine type-r sperates in my 240sx they are ok for free..lol

Focal is good, but they're VERY expensive. And when you're getting that high into the range there are better speakers to be had for less money.

I wouldn't trust any of the new MB Quart shit.

For good speakers on a modest budget check out Nakamichi. The sound quality is pretty badass for the price range. Especially if you have a Nakamichi head unit.
