I just got a 4 channel amp- speaker suggestions
I have an 02 accord. That means 6.5 front and 6x9 rear I believe. What speakers should I get? My girl works at Circuit City so I would prefer to get them from there or off the internet. The amps specs are:
4 x 100W @ 4 ohms (0.3% THD)
4 x 150W @ 2 ohms (1% THD)
1 x 300W @ 4 ohms bridged
Output Power at 14.4V:
4 x 125W @ 4 ohms (0.3% THD)
4 x 250W @ 2 ohms (1% THD)
1 x 500W @ 4 ohms bridged
Fuse: 4 x 20A
Dimensions: 16.5" x 8.69" x 2.31" (42cm x 22.8cm x 6cm)
Only the rear channels are bridgeable.
I just want some clean sound without paying the 100% mark up. I will even buy them used if you got some.

Personally I'd go with Infinity Kappa's. They are ultimately my favorite speakers, I currently have a component setup in my A4 with a Infinity 4ch amp running them as well as a mono amp to push my Kappa Q in the back. I really like them for the sound quality I get from Infinity

Boston Acoustics are decently priced for your fronts as well as the sx95 version for your rear. I run the Boston Pro 60's in my car on same power you have.

Re: I just got a 4 channel amp- speaker suggestions
It is an alpine v12 amp. In my Accord I have little components on the top of the dash and the grill is triangular shaped. I heard most any component will fit in there so I would need 6.5 components in the front and 6x9 rear. It sounds like a lot of you like Alpine Type R speakers. What about the lower model Type S? After all, that is what Dominic had in his RX7, jk. Anyway, I have an Infinity 10" sub with a directed amp already for my bass so I wouldnt need anything to serious or expensive when it comes to speakers, right?
Oh, and what do you all think about Kicker speakers all the way around? On Circuit City's website they did not get too good of reviews as far as the components were concerned and noone on here has mentioned them yet but they'd be the cheapest for me to get.
