STI's are great for barrel rolls. j/k just get what you want. to hell w/ everyone else's thought.

 

Get a 98 2 door and do the EJ25t swap if you want a daily. EJ20t if not.

 

Extremely fun car. Awesome down low tho they lack a little up top. They respond extremely well to boltons and some kind of EM. They sound good (shut up corey). Very inviting community.

Just buy it, take it out in the rain (or the nearest dirt/grass field) and youll realize why you bought it, because contrary to popular belief, AWD is fun as hell.

I like STis. I REALLY do. I would really consider picking one up some time... but they DO NOT sound good. They sound unique for sure, but different doesn't equal good.

 

Personal opinion alert: They do sound much better with a equal length header. It takes away the uneven rumble that Subarus are known for.

And I know I'm nearly alone in this opinion, but that "rumble" sounds awful to me. It just sounds lumpy and unbalanced. It's not a good rumble. I know the Scooby faithful will cry blasphemy, but I really think it sounds bad.

I don't know that I've ever heard one with an equal length manifold.

And of course this is all personal opinion. I just happen to know that my opinion is correct.
