Funny thing is, I just rode in a friends newer STI for the first time, and the console all around the radio is painted silver, its wearing off and its black under it. LOL. The 03-04 Z didn't have a great interior, but the 05+ and especially the 07s have a much better interior than the STI does.

the 2006s are both 300hp cars i believe but the sti has 300 lb-ft of torque when the 350 has 260 the new sti is ugly as sin i would get an older one with low miles build it and put a big ass turbo on it

OK, IMO 350Z is extremely attractive on the outside, but the interior leaves something to be desired. The STI is obviously faster on the track, but looks lame and, just like the Evo, has a boy-racer kind of feel.

The 350Z looks like it's been on the same diet the Baldwin brothers have been on. It looks fat, bloated, overweight.... It's funny how the G35 coupe is based on the same platform and yet looks long, lean, and svelte.
I think the 350Z's biggest failure is looks.

The interior of the 06+ 350z is much much better than the older ones and much better than the STI.
The 350z 07+ has the new HR engine which has a awesome powerband even with 270tq~ it would hand the STI its butt in a race. The STI falls flat at the upper rpms.
