Default Should I purchase a 350z or a STI?

I know they are two complete opposites. An impractical 2dr 2 seater RWD sports car and an AWD turbo 4 door sedan. Just looking for general opinions and thoughts. Any experiences owning one and any advantages disadvantages that maybe I didn't think of. I have found a few 04 STI's but am kind of weary on buying that year for lack of a radio and I guess they used a different differential? Also, concerned with early model 350z's and oil consumption. Anyway any clarification on that would be great too.
Thanks for voting.

03-I think 05 wrx's were the best, appearantly. However, I'm no Subaru guy so don't count on my word.

Oh and 350's are slow.

I think you should get a yaris...I hear they are known for being torque monsters with a suspension system unparalleled by any car on the market.

Go drive both, then decide. And what in the world are you talking about with lack of a radio?

For some reason I was thinking they didn't come with a radio, either that or it's a really shitty one. in 2004 that is, also somethign with the climate control being different.

I have driven both and currently am looking for the right deal. Just kinda getting opinions and wondering what long term owners of both had to day. I loved my legacy GT so I'm sure the STI would be like wise. The idea of the 350z is nice too, but I have no prior experience with nissans other then my 240s

Nope they have a radio. With a 6 disc changer, factory mini sub thing. The factory radio and speakers really aren't that bad. Also, as far as I know/remember, they all have the DCCD center diff. I personally would go with an STi. You have a motor that can hold a good amount of power, with the tranny that will hold it too. However, I'm somewhat biased because I am a previous Subaru owner. I think owning an STi would be more fun. Guys with STi's and a full exhaust, or very few mods are breaking 12s. Im sure it would take more than an exhaust to put you in the 12s in a Z. As for long term reliability, I had my WRX for approximately 60k miles. I never had any problems I didn't cause myself. That would consist of breaking rear diff's only because I made the car RWD. Other than that it was an extremely reliable car. The STi would be ever better reliability wise.

IMO the WRX look is ugly. I dunno 4 door just doesnt cut it for me unless its Audi performance wise, STi has the appeal but the 350z has the looks with decent power. Up to you no what you want.
