Default selling your car that caught fire..

let's say your car caught fire. you fixed everything on the car so you couldn't tell it had a fire. would you let the potential buyer know that the car caught fire?

If the car fire has been reported, they can carfax for the info...

If you fixed completely what caused the fire and know it wont happen again, I probably wouldnt worry about it.

If it's an electrical fire, I'd tell them anyway, so when they have future wiring issues, they can check the area of previous fire/heat damage first.

well...someone brought this to my attention on another forum. seems like a good car...except he left out one crucial detail. it caught fire. he posted about it on www.cb7tuner.com

https://www.vadriven.com/forums/import-asia-65/93-honda-accord-lx-low-miles-252913/

heres his car on cb7tuner!

http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?p=1663167

and heres where he talks about the fire damage...

page 3, post 46 in the cb7 link.

or, for quick reference.

no wonder its so cheap....

just trying to help any potential buyers out!
