In the real world Corvettes and S2000s get very similar fuel mileage. The difference is negligible. It's been long known that 'vettes get great gas mileage.

 

The key is in keeping proper tire inflation.

That's my key anyways. Sounds stupid but makes a large difference.

It is in fact a 13.2gal tank. So I got about 19mpg

 

spirited driving sucks gas...even if its for a very short time.

 

I avg 19-22mpg all around in my vette.

This includes accleration burst.

 

City I average like 18 or so. Highway is vastttttttly different. 28 on average.

 

well i have not been on any trip in the car that i put an entire tank of gas all highway.

If you are following the stock heads up display for avg gas mileage its not very accurate. Usually reads 2mpg higher then actual mileage with me.


What i do is fill up the tank reset trip, then when i fill back up divid the miles by the amount it took to fill back up. Thats a more accurate # IMO.

i get 27.8 miles in my 07 s2k but its mostly hwy about 330+ to the tank
