People have been playing with rotary valves for a really long time, it's very expensive stuff at the moment because of the machining and materials.

I spoke to this guy 5 years ago, At that time he wanted 3 complete engines and 150k. for this he would return me 3 working engines fitted with the new rotary valve heads. The horsepower he predicted was fantastic, but my budgett wouldn't allow the investment. Also it wouldn't have been legal for class in competition. The technology has been around for a very long time, I remember reading an article in a magazine back in the 70's about it, at that time sealing the cam to chamber was the problem. But now with the advent of carbon-ceramic material, the problems seems to be solved. Maybe I will contact him again to see if the price has come down within reason.
