Reckless Ticket. Fauquier County.
wtf, i can't believe they didn't drop it down to improper driving considering your record and age (no offense). And it's not like you were weaving thru traffic or there was even alot of traffic out there. Hmm, if it really bothers you maybe you should look into an appeal and a lawyer?

The prosecuting attourney was straight up just like "I am not giving you a break on this at all. Fine and points." I could have stood in front of the judge and tried to talk to him, but it was obvious it would not have mattered. Anyway, fine is paid. I can take an online driver improvement course, it was not assigned as a punishment so it is voluntary, and that will get me 5 points back. So, maybe in the long run it won't be too bad.
damn! cant believe it wasnt dropped to improper driving. especially for it being 10 years since your las moving violation. and I thought Hanover and Henrico was bad
I would not appeal that decision. In a small town like that the judges probably play golf every Sunday together and if you appeal it you may end up in jail. A lot of people don't understand that if you appeal a case that the superior court judge can make your sentence worse.
that blows dude, my first wreckless was here in fauquier, more of a failure to maintain control and they dropped it, being 16 w/ no tickets, the juvenille judge is really laid back, but the regular judge can be a dick, since then its only been illegal equipments and such which they aren't affraid to give out
but yeah, 17 is horrible for the state boys, and 17 going out to 50 on the north 1/2 of the county is even worse, 45mph for 9 FLAT AND STRAIGHT miles, doing 49 can get you a ticket there
