i was going to do the swap to the 1,8 then turbo it, but that would be too much money, my engine is in good shape now, i don't want to swap and get a problem engine you know. I'm not going to the track or racing it per se, so it's better to stick with something I know is reliable, especially since it's my only car. I'll have pics up on clubprotege.com and cardomain once it's finished, hopefully by christmas, i just need a 50 dollar manifold and a week to weld the flange, oil/water lines., and possibly more pipe, that's it. so it won't be too long. Hell my z5 is fast off the line, like spic said, he seems to know more than you do crix...so who's your daddy?
hahaaaa

my car is unique and that's what matters to me, not many have a 1.5 L 2nd gen pro turbo'ed... actually I'll be the second or third to successfully do it in the whole US depending on who you ask etc etc...

I'd say that's pretty unique...good sleeper car

i bet you'd shit your pants crix if you heard a family car blow off on you... hahaaaa

yep i did post on how to install a boost gauge. i'm here to learn, unlike some people who think they know it all...what would you do if you didn't know how to do something? just cut things up until you screwed everything up or would you do it right and ask questions?

It's not going to be nearly as easy as you think it's going to be.

Don't attempt this if it's your only means of transportation to work/school. You'll be pissing alot of friends/parents off begging for rides.

It's seriously going to be a pain in the ass.

yes it will be a lot of cutting to make things fit and taking things apart, but my awesome fiance won't mind giving me rides to college, and i work where my mom works so that won't be too hard in that dept. plus it's my 5th year of college so i'm not taking that many classes anyway so i don't need to drive back and forth constantly.

i have a question though, why do people think that it's ok to bash on other people's cars? Isn't it great that everyone is modding their cars and doing what they can with what they have? Why is it that being unique and different isn't appreciated anymore? It seems like everyone buys a civic, spends a few thousand on aftermarket parts and acts like they have a beast and that gives them authority. lol
