It was more than likely a quote for an actual base +clear vs their bargain clear base mix. Shoot Nftuatn a pm and see what he says for hood and bumper. Only guy I will let touch my cars bodywise and more.

Then do the prep work yourself, get Maaco to lay the paint, then spend a bunch of time wet sanding the orange peel and fish eye out of it.
