hey man, good luck with it. for real. If you really do pull something like this off I give you the thumbs up. It would be a cool little project. DO NOT call any of the shops around here until you have money in hand and are VERY serious about doing it.

All we're saying is we'll give you props after you show us some time slips. I was planning on Swapping the drivetrain out of a Buick Grand National GNX into my old '84 chevy blazer. And if i did do it it would have seriously kicked some ricer ass. but you know what? i found out how much it would cost. and i decided that i liked being slow better than i liked being in debt for 10 years. Take it easy. do a CRX swap. listen to people who have acutally done these things. Save the grand projects for later. and get your liscense before you get knee deep into a project which will leave you without a ride for a few months.

well you havent even started you project so you realy havent attempted to do anything yet, no one wants to hear what your going to do until you do it, i mean you dont even have your motor yet, nor decided what your going to put in it, all im saying is that you came into this forum acting like hot shit and in reality your just some 15 year old with big dreams, dont get ahead of yourself, taking on a project like that is going to take money and time,if you do it then great, but for now its all to all of us.

To basically sum up everything everybody has said:

You're not serious if you don't have more than enough money to cover this project. If you're doing a swap that isn't a "normal" swap, trust me, you will be spending a lot of money to cover all the unexpected costs that are bound to crop up. Shit happens. Expensive shit. Especially when you want a swap that isn't one that's all that proven.

Don't knock the advice given by people on this board. Many of them are seasoned in tuning, and know what they are talking about. And believe me, they've heard it all. At this moment, you're just some 15 year old kid who's nothing but a dreamer.

I'll say this much: there's a difference between doing a project that's different from the norm, and a project that's so different from the norm so as to render it both a waste of time and money.

Your first plan of action is to figure out if what you're doing is the former or the latter.

FYI: a bunch of guys with cars using a group name hardly qualifies as a "racing team"
