Matt's $30K+ rule! Haha, it definately worked for me today man. I decided to take the girl down to the beach and get some ice cream. I haven't cruised the strip in a LONG time, but all of the biker cops just looked and then went about thier business. One at the DQ parking lot looked like he was about to go in front of me, so I waved him ahead. He just waved me on and smiled. I rolled out of the lot sans front plate with no issues.
The beach was niiiiice today.

I think race is a factor. I was at a GREEN light with girl in the car and an officer yelled "excuse me" out of his window, I looked over and said, "yes, sir, can I help you?" "May I ask you a question?" "sure" " is that YOUR car?" "yes sir, it is" "well in that case, may I inquire as to why you have no front plate?" " Its a separate bracket you have to special order from the dealership" "Oh really..." "Uh, yes sir it is." "Do you have the front plate with you? " "Yes sir, its in the back". (at this point traffic is angry behind us at a GREEN light) . " Well you need to have a front plate" "I understand sir" " You better get that bracket soon" " Of course, sir...."
WTF ever. I can count on my HAND how many vettes in this area have a front plate. Id rather pay the ticket that fark up the lines on the vette.

I've gotten a no front plate ticket in the vette already. Cop wasnt real friendly....in great bridge... Officer Tindall.
Nothing else to do but ride around in a unmarked issuing no front plate tickets.
I need to move to great bridge, no crime.

When I had my Camaro, I drove around with no muffler on it for a couple months, even got pulled once for speeding and never even got questioned about it.
