My first car was a Ford Probe GT 5-speed... If I remember correctly it was $12k after negotiations. That car rocked for a first car.

Mine looked like this but with chrome wheels instead of painted... Laser red, 5-spokes, and the spoiler...
Oh... and I always thought the C5 designers took some styling cues from the Prope's front bumper. Specifically the main center openings and signal lights.
