My letter to Norfolk Police dept, about the guys ID in my car

Note- this is on ODU's campus. No justice was served that night, And I saw no protecting and serving either. I'm guessing youve seen the opposite, but I guess it just comes down to luck. But thats just my .02 cents

Ahh. You're right. I missed that one.
And for the topic of discussion: Good work on making an effort to fix matters, It seems to me that the police really arent making an effort anymore. Good luck with your break in case too.

cops are too busy setting up speed traps every 2 blocks to put forth the effort for any real police work. Situations like yours are one of the reasons there is so much crime in hampton roads. Police departments are more worried about how much money they are making the cities in fines. Bringing that guy to justice wont make Norfolk any money so why bother.
glad to see other people see how cops REALLY are...all they are after is sitting on th eir butt..with radar, and other electronics trying to bust perfectly nice people...because wehave a hobby with cars. rather than catchin criminals....they want that EASY MONEY...and thats all they are good for...i could care less about any cop....USELESS

** alot of the below shouldn't apply to much to your car ONLY because they had the guys ID... i meen shit that doesnt take a whole lot to work, no finger printing etc.. gets costly **
anywho, back on topic its not just norfolk, any "high" crime city is NOT going to work a small property damage, its just not going to happen for two reasons, one; its not that is NOT profitable, its that it cost to much. it is a business and they look at spending a couple thousand to catch the person who did 500$ in damage... or letting your insurance company deal with it? any business would do the same thing ( THIS DOES SOUND SHITTY but, its the truth ) with that they also looked at the car probably and didn't think you would go hungry getting it fixed ya know? TWO is "most" departments would use their resources for higher theft crimes up to violent crimes.

And the roads that they're on are ones where people typically drive 15-20 mph over the posted speed limit, so I don't see a problem with that.
well hell, we should all get together and have a crime spree. Call ourselves the Drag bandits. We will break into cars and leave our business card behind. "I stole your shit, thanks" Sincerly the drag bandits.

In the end, I'm sure the police would love to investigate every single crime that happens, but people would probably complain about the 45% sales tax.
