Default my first accident

got into an accident today up in richmond. most of my front end is fawked and the other vehicle has a minor scratch on it. im just wondering if anyone has delt with geico before and knows whether or not if they allow you to get anything from the car. the cars in richmond and i live in va beach. but my question refers to one part in patricular, my piggy back. its a simple plug and play piece that needs to be un-married to the ECU. any info would help. thanks guys and gals.

edit: hasnt been confirmed if the car is totaled but similar accidents have came out as totaled.

Don't tell them about it.Go to the wreckers yard and get it out asap.Just tell them your car was towed there and you need to get some stuff out.

Would this happen to be a Cobb AP? You could sell it to me .

But seriously, that sucks, sorry for your loss. There shouldn't be any problem with you unmarrying the piggyback from the ECU. The rule is that if you remove an aftermarket part, you have to include the stock corresponding part. Because the piggy back is just an add-on you can take it off.

The yard shouldnt have any problem with you getting your personal property off the vehicle or modifications as long as you put the OEM peice back in place of your mod.
