all i was saying is that there alot more things that can skew a G-tech reading as opposed to an actual timeslip. i've never actually g-teched my 1/4 only my 0-60. but i know that my timeslip is accurate...

I've been to the track and got time slips that weren't accurate.

My friend swaped his springs and it changed his Gtech reading a lot.

Azkarain,

Am I curious how the Mustang dyno calculates horsepower. The only thing a dyno actually measures is torque. It gets the HP figure from a mathematic equation. That being the case how can an inaccurate torque reading give an accurate horsepower reading. Could you please post how the torque is read by a Mustang dyno. Crate said he got 380ish tq I believe it was. The gear ratio for his 4th gear is around 1:1, not exact but close. How can that throw off the tq numbers? I have seen Mustang dyno pulls that have been lower then the normal dynojet and I've seen some that have been higher they just don't see to be consistent. If you could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

This is aZrakain: exagerated times such as 20 second slips and things of that nature.

HMM: I'm trying to get some information on it. as for crate: he didn't run in forth gear did he???? Nope.

Man Crate has 285 ft lbs of torque NA out of his H22. I was going to race him but now I think I will start thinking of excuses. Damn, I wish my Nissan made that kind of power.

. Not sure if a dynojet can do partial loads and partial throttle. [/B][/QUOTE]
yes it can it has a program called dynotrack where you can load the rollers with the brake for different engine loads/ while viewing the a/f livetime/ it can stop a 1200 hp car at wide open throttle if needed. if you are tuning a car a dynojet is one of the best we have ran 3 different widebands at the same time and the one on the dyno was the fastest to respond to changes. they all read within .4of each other
