Marijuana DUI's?
Out of the 6 ppl in that group that tried to donate sperm to this research program in Norfolk, the two that smoke heavily are the ones that had the insufficient sperm count.
well i guess im goin bare back from now on...if smoking weed is anyway harmful do a person it would be tolerated by government that are way better organized than the us...............thc is stored in fat cells and allows for the "high" flow of dopamine in the brain which is there naturally anyways......causes no visual effects or side effects (beside munchin and watching alot of law and order)....weed,hash,oils, are becoming more commonky used in medical research for pain sufferers and is goin to be awesome when fully decriminalized.........the low sperm count can be cause from ciggarette smoka as well no direct test say"yes it doe or no it doesnt" there is much talk about who is right......i know alot of heads with kids

Mushrooms are illegal because they drastically alter your perceptions of reality.

I personally think the "War on Drugs" is a gross waste of time and resources that could be spent on better things. I think if you want to go get addicted to crystal meth and ruin your life - go for it it's called natural selection, keep your genes out of the pool. In 1914 the Feds didn't want infringe on your rights and regulate your personal freedoms, they've since changed their minds and are slowly but surely trying to regulate everything in your life. I can't wait for them to regulate my health care too, so I can then have my food intake regulated so I can't eat too many fats or carbs.
An extreme example, yes, but definitely something to keep in mind when voting/looking at potential candidate's platforms.
Opium is not something that grows straight out of the ground, it has to be processed.

NC decriminalized? Uh, not in Raleigh at least. Yes, <0.5oz doesn't get you in major trouble, but they do still arrest for it and they do still convict for it. The lesser penalties are a reflection of the realities of NC's financial status (people in NC won't put up with high fines and putting people in jail is too expensive for NC).
So because to make opium requires some minimal effor it is no longer a natural plant product? Mushrooms may have other effects, but the point is still the same: naturally occuring has nothing to do with whether something should be illegal or not.

The latest things I've heard about psilocybin (mushrooms) is that they're trying to use it to make a new type of anti-anxiety drug. Other then that the it doesn't do much but make you fart and 'trip'.
I agree the naturally occurring argument is weak - I just think that if it is you putting things in your body you should be able to do whatever you want (assuming you're of age of course). I could understand if certain states wanted to regulate it - then people could go live where they agree with certain policies - but federal prohibition for marijuana is a joke (as in it shouldn't exist).
