Default Manual or Electronic boost controller?

I have an AVCR and i have not used it yet. I was wanting opinions on what yall think about using a manual boost controller or a electronic and why you like which ever one it is. I have always used a manual.

Electronics work better, manuals are cheaper. An electronic unit will perform more consistantly and without a lot of the creap and spiking that come with manual controllers.
