Default LS/vtec - turbo?

right now i am running an ls-turbo setup. i have the option of picking up a Type R head. how would that be? would my compression be raised because of this? is ls/vtec-turbo good or bad? let me hear your opinions.

Good and bad. If you put that head on it would be good, but get some pistons to go with it. Even some b16a pistons would be better than the stock ls ones. Might put down like 175+ NA with the Type R head. How much you getting it for? I need one. later

you should be fine with your setup now...you got sleeves, with forged pistons, and rods right? you should definately get a block girdle

i might not be getting it now because i have to pick up a new ECU, and my hondata LS ecu will be totally useless. i payed a grip for the hondata chip. unless someone has heard of switching the chip over to a vtec ecu?
